My Big Chop---August 22, 2013

I did my Big Chop (BC) in my dorm room. It was the beginning of my first semester in college. It was really spontaneous and I have no complaints. Before I big chopped I had one of those sassy Fantasia inspired hair cuts during my senior year of high school. I had micros at the time of my Big Chop. Funny thing is I chopped in the front, so at that point I knew that there was no turning back lol :). I had at least less than an inch of hair on my head. Honestly, wearing my hair that short caused my confidence to dramatically increase! I felt absolutely beautiful, as I still do. Chopping off my hair I believe was the best decision I have ever made besides giving my life to Jesus Christ lol. It's been 5 months since my big chop and I'm finally coming out of the TWA stage. I'm so excited and I absolutely love my natural hair. My hair is extremely healthy and thick, I wish I would have gone natural a long time ago.....
